Thats the end of another season with my team Tottenham losing to Liverpool to miss out on a European place by just 2 points! :( I cant complain though, Harry Redknapp has come in and worked miracles since the shambles Juande Ramos masterminded and hopefully next season will be 'our season' COYS!It has been funny afternoon though, watching the commentators on Sky Sports News going frantic over the relegation dog fight between Hull City and Newcastle United. Shouts here, chances there, but ultimately West Brom, Newcastle and Middlesborough are down to the Coca Coca Championship.
I'm quietly smug that Newcastle are bidding farewell to top flight football. Yes they have a big ground, yes they have a large fan base and yes they have had a good stint in the top flight under the days of Keegan and Bobby Robson, but they aren't a big club! no matter what their fans think! Im going to look forward seeing them play Plymouth Argyle at Home Park next season! Also being in Newbury means i get to the seem them play at the Madjeski when they travel to Reading. Next season can't come any sooner! Roll on August!!
